BEFORE YOUR CLASS
SAFETY RULES
It is imperative that you follow your instructor’s rules at all times, please memorize the four safety rules before your class:

Always keep your firearm pointed in a safe direction

Always keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot

Always keep your firearm unloaded until ready to use
-
Always know your target and beyond
WHAT TO BRING
-
Quality functional semi-automatic pistol (no micro-pistols or pocket pistols. Full size and compact pistols only.)
-
3 magazines minimum
-
Belt mounted, dominant-side, outside the waistband holster
-
Sturdy belt
-
Footwear suitable for rapid movement and turning
-
Clothing suitable for training in any weather (pants must have belt loops)
-
Eyewear protection
-
Earmuffs or earplugs
-
**Optional: loading devices
-
400 rounds minimum (NOTE - this is an estimated quantity; due to the unique flexibility of the program students may shoot more or less)
THINGS TO CONSIDER
-
Water; it can get very hot outside, make sure you stay hydrated
-
Snacks; we will have a few breaks periodically
-
Towel; to dry sweat
-
Hat, Sunscreen, and Long sleeves; these are not mandatory but they will help protect your skin from the sun.
